We've started removing all mature and adult images for the site. Our policy has always been to maintain a family friendly site. But apparently some images feel through the cracks, and we're working hard to clean up.

As part of this project, we're also flagging eechi images so that we can eventually provide two site. One that we're confident is child safe, and another more suited for college age adults.

Neither site will allow sexually explicit content, or nudity.


The goal of Anime Characters Database remains the same. We will index every animated image that has at least one person asking the question "Who is this?". Sometimes this is a challenge, as many such images come from adult sources. But we'll do our best to give you the answer of who the character is, without exposing you to inappropriate images!
