Mitsugu Mouryou’s Anime Review
Rosario + Vampire, one of the all time classics! I’ve not heard a negative word about it. Now if you love Shonen, harem, comedies with monsters, this one’s for you. The lead here in Tsukune Aono, the poster child for ‘Lucky SOB’, who through some mix up goes to Yokai Academy for Monsters. Right away he befriends the winy Moka, and the story begins! Now, the bad points: Moka is very winy and annoying, but her inner true form makes up for it, she is bad a$$! Now the series is rather predictable, Tsukune gets in trouble, somehow pulls the rosary from Moka’s neck, and her inner, ‘S Class’ super monster form comes out to save the day. Yet at the end of each ep he manages to make a friend. The comedy is good, and the plots are predictable, but the storyline has rather good development, and the other monsters are accurate according to Japanese mythology, for the most part. Rosario + Vampire contains: violence, adult themes, and has earned a top spot as one of my more favorite animes with 6.4(out of 10) A must see for monster lovers everywhere! Thank you MMAR21 |
