There's a role playing game called Mage The Ascension that's held a special place in my heart since my cousin introduced me to it so many years ago. In this game you role play a mage who through shear power of will, bends reality into their desire. Small changes often have little to no consequences. Where as big changes, can call down upon the mage paradox spirits and a wretched battle for survival called Quiet.
I've long been one to do things to the extreme. When I feel able to code, and have an idea - I see it through to the very last drop of mental energy is used. This course of action is always followed by life threatening mental anguish. Normal everyday actions become a struggle, and the entire balance of a normal life falls apart and crumbles. Sleeping, eating, exercise all become diminished. Depression intensifies. Every external source of stimulus becomes something to be avoided. Talking with others feels the same as being a deer as it's eaten alive by wolves.
I accomplish utterly amazing things through this method, which is why I continue to torture myself this way year after year. I lack the skill set to break things into smaller parts and do it a little at a time. No matter how I try, that approach always fails me. Even the smallest possible task quickly expands to 100x it's size.

QC is the last big project I worked on. A system that over time will improve the quality and consistency of our visual trait index.

The Forum is also back, and greatly simplified. Seems to be some interest in updating the Capture game, as well as changing the NTR system. Feel free to join the discussion if you'd like me to make these a priority!

Ignore List has been expanded to allow for ignoring up to 100 users. To preserve my own fragile pool of energy I am ignoring negative people. I LOVE actionable criticism. It's never wrong to look at something and tell me "this could be SO MUCH BETTER if" ... I might quickly agree and start work on it. If I do allocate my time and energy to improve something in the direction you asked, please do not miss the chance to say something positive! Like "thanks! that's awesome. good job! well done". It goes a long way to make me feel like my effort had meaning, had a point. Now if it feel short of what you were hoping for, try, please at least try, to phrase your follow up like: "This is good, but it could be even better ....".
