Lots of major updates this April !

Do a hard refresh on the site to see the newish theme. It's more open, and more blue and gold. Is it better ? Who knows! Is it here to stay ? Probably. XD

My pet project this month has been Spoiler Alert . Name was suggested by Cirno, as every post is ripe with spoilers.

Last month I started making a list of websites I visit daily, and I asked myself, what does ACDB have to offer to keep people coming back day after day ? All the websites on my list, I visit because of updates. A new article, a new post, a new chapter, a new email ... always looking for that latest update. You miss a day, you miss a lot.

But what do we have on ACDB ? A massive database you can search when needed. A ton of novelty features you've probably already had your fill of fun with, and like me, have forgotten the existence of the majority of them.

So what's left we can do ?

My answer was episode blogs. I mean sure, there's a ton of them out there. Nearly everyone with wordpress can take screenshots and upload them. And many are quite famous. Other times the very home pages of our favorite series offer 50px screencaps of entire series.

Like always, I wanted to do it different. Bigger in scope. Larger in ambition. And this time, I'm making it easy to rip my content and use it on your blog !

I'm also asking Members and Anonymous visitors to contribute their thoughts on each episode. You get a safe space to type what you think, and not have to care about replies for now. xD Member posts will be visible, whereas anon posts will go through a moderation queue.



For now, I am manually adding episodes with the assist of some crazy bash scripting magic. You can expect heavy updates over the weekend, and bulk updates for older series as I get around to it.
