I want to know the name of a minor character from this show, who is a ghost of a blonde, cute little girl. (and of course I will to add her after I find that out!) But, most likely, nobody knows about her, because she appears there only in 2 episodes in the second season.

Actually, this show has less than over 9000 very minor characters that appear in only 1-2 episodes, so wikia doesn't care about them, and neighter do most of the people who watched the show. So unless I/somebody else rewatch this series and make a screenshot of every. single. minor. character in it, there won't be a place online that has all of them in one place. Even the JP Wiki doesn't have a full list of them...

Never mind that silly message of mine... AniDB has all of the minor characters. The name of that blonde girl is Nina, and she's from the first season, and not from the second one, as I thought before.

Only watched a few episodes of this. While the plot is good, I think it's unfair that the people who send their tormenters to hell have to go to hell with them. They've been through enough. Don't you guys agree with me?

They should make a 4th season where heaven gets involved. My Idea I had last week: There would three 3 angels (a girl and 2 boys who are siblings), who want balance in the afterlife. One would remove the black tattoos and the other 2 would take innocent souls out of hell (From all the other seasons too). Let me know if you want to here and know more. :)

Actually, if they ever made such a thing it would screw up the whole point of Jigoku Shoujo! Even if your life is being ruined by another person, you don't have the right to take their life away for that. Because if you did that (killed somebody, even through Ai) you'd go to hell for it anyway.
Each and every one of those characters chose to KILL somebody, therefore their tattoos are belong on their bodies. They can't escape hell for doing what they did. Ai was tempting them (like a devil who tempts a saint etc.) And nobody, certainly not ANGELS have the right/need/want to remove them.
That is the point of this anime. You kill somebody, you go to hell. No exceptions, desu.
PS: I am not a christian, btw. I don't believe in all of this stuff, but I know some things about it.

I didn't know they had to admit it... I was only referring to the anime, not the rules of going/not going to hell in general. And Ai makes them admit anyway. They still go to hell, even if they did. They always go to hell.
I don't think the church rules affect Ai or the hell in this anime.

In some of the episodes of the first season they did that "confess to save your soul" bit. Anyway... The idea sounded interesting (mostly because I like these Heaven vs Hell stories). And these "Heaven" characters were bound to happen sooner or later.

True. I have heard heaven being mentioned several times in this show. Jigoku vs Tengoku would be cool. Anyway, I always thought the lesson was "Don't be a horible person or you're gonna get it".

Jigoku Shoujo is about hell, and our protagonist is also the antagonist in some way, but she still will win. If there was a Tengoku there, Ai would: either won them in a single episode, or just became the full-time antagonist. But this series is all about hell, and they won't change the protagonist to the antagonist, because then she'd have to "die"/stop killing. They are centered on Ai and the hell, they won't allow her to "die" like that. But if they did that anyway, it could be interesting. You're right. I'd watch that anyway. I just think that Ai is way too strong and awesome for angels!

they had that journalist from the first season as a recurring individual in the later part of that season. I think that's as close to hell vs heaven as things will get :P poor guy almost got murdered too (for different reasons but still)
