It was almost impossible for a necromancer to resist, and Lere found her hand on her bell. She could try a new trick of hers, get rid of them, and get all four. Then again, one was a necromancer, likely to have a strong will or such. Not stronger than hers, of course. The boy was her son, and as a necromancer's son he was also likely to be a hindrance. Jian though was a different story... easy to control, or so it seemed. Yes, she'd have to be careful with him. And Sanar... of all four, she was the hardest to control. They would be hard, but not invincible. She was trying very hard to keep a poker face, as normal humans called it.

Yuropa fussed over Jian for a little while longer, making sure that his leg would heal straight and not hinder them in any way before she set her glare on the other necromancer.

"May I help you? If so, what is it? If not, ciao, and I hope that corpse has insurance." the woman said.

Yuropa moved away from Jian, her hands fondling over her bells as she decided which one was more appropriate. She gave a nod to Malachi who was already drawing more glyphs in the air. She liked his choice of spells, such a smart boy.

"I don't know what you mean, woman," she sneered, her eyes narrowing, "How could you want to help me?"

Lere eyed Malachi. She had a spell ready in her hand, and it was the counter spell of that one in case the need arised. Her hand was also on her bag, just in case she needed to get what was inside. Then she screamed in pain as she broke her ankle. She muttered a quick healing spell and dusted herself off. She looked at her headphones to make sure they were okay. Then she noticed that Sanar had somehow gotten back up. She swore and looked around. The mage was a threat and she had to eliminate it. She hoped on short temper and turned to Yuropa. ¨Don call me woman, old hag.¨ Lere snarled, knowing now that the boy was defensive about his mother. She sneered. ¨The two of you are insignificant compared to me and my power!¨ she sneered.

Malachi watched in confusion as the woman broke her ankle and then proceeded to heal herself. Her and her dead friend both seemed rather unstable and he didn't like it. She started to harp on about her magnificent power and almost laughed at that. The amount of magus he had been trained under who had said the same thing...

"Old hag? Why you little wench!" he heard his mother growl, noticing her hand settle to the middle part of the bell buckle. "I'll have you know I graduated with honours from my school! Why would I need help from an incompetent necromancer like you?"

Malachi noticed his mother nod in his direction and he quickened his pace, working his way through the glyphs with a steady hand. When he completed the final one he looked to his mother and waited.

With a flourish of her shawl Yuropa grabbed two bells and rang them while at the same time Malachi activated his spells. The glyphs flared into life and shone with a brilliant golden light. Malachi could feel another portal to the underworld open and jumped in after his mother who had already disappeared with Jian.

Lere chuckled lightly. SHe looked at the portal close. If only that they had knew she was the legendary necromancer. She looked at Sanar, who had collapsed once again, this time really dead. She rolled her eyes. SHe had always hated Sanar...

Once they had gotten away from the other crazy necromancer Yuropa paused. The woman had left her companion to die and hadn't bothered taking control of her? She watched as the other woman's spirit made it's way through the underworld and it made her stop. She hadn't taken another body in years and Jian, darling as he was, was getting more difficult to control with the dragon spirit in him.

She looked to Malachi and opened another gate for him.

"Get out now, it's not good for your health. Take your father with you for now... I have business here to take care of."

Malachi went to protest but she had already made her point. He gave a sigh once more and exited through the doorway she provided, dragging Jian with him as he went.

Once they were gone Yuropa went deeper into the underworld, past the first gate and closer to the second. She stopped when she caught sight of the woman's spirit and grabbed her second smallest bell, giving it a ring.

"Spirit, I command you stop. Come to me!" she sent as much power as she dared in her voice, ever alert for a rogue spirit wandering around.

Sanar paused. She had been trying to avoid a necromancer. Either way, she stopped. She struggled, but weakened as she was, she ended up relinquishing control to the necromancer.

This lady better not waist me on something low level, Sanar thought.

She breathed a quiet sigh of relief as the spirit turned back around. She was never like Jian who loved to walk through at least 5 gates before confronting spirits, the underworld still frightened her a little bit.

"Tell me your name." she commanded, looking the spirit in the eyes with an unwavering gaze.

She could already feel the pull of the last gate but it was easy to ignore. The cold in her feet however was making her uncomfortable. That was something she never could quite get used to, despite all her years training and working as a necromancer. The cold still bothered her.

Yuropa's eyes flashed with anger and she rang her bell once more, scattering the nearby spirits that threatened to crawl over to her. This time she put more control into her ring, enforcing the clang with words of command.

"I asked you a question, you will reply!" she asked once more.

She didn't like this one. She was starting to feel like this was a trap the longer she stayed here. The thought made her start to worry. Who would be after her? Is it that crazy necromancer that tried to break Jian? Or someone else? Her mind raced for an answer but she never let her will falter, knowing all too well how out of control spirits could be much more dangerous in the underworld.
