Anyone watching Regios?

A lot of people have been saying it has the potential to be as awesome as a Code Geas or Fate//Stay Night.... personally, I think it's already there. :-D

Only issue I have with the first 3 eps so far... they're throwing way too much at us. Have to wait and see how they tie so many storylines together.

I still don't get these moving domes and the Capture the Flag matches they have where people potentially can get killed.

As awesome as Code Geass? That's setting a pretty high standard right there. At any rate, you got me curious. I'm going to add this to my list of anime to check out and preview the first few episodes as soon as I have bandwidth available. The Capture the Flag thing sounds meh, though.

I agree with Kyareshi, that is a pretty high standard. It's the first time I've heard of Regios. I'll check it out.

So far this is the only series I actively look forward to (I watch some others, but more when its convenient than it being a 'MUST SEE!'! factor).

Really, it has enormous potential, I do hope that it will defy even my expectations. *Sheer optimism*

I would say more, but I just saw Kara no Kyoukai 5 so everything else pales in comparison for hours afterward... Will update this once that wears off if I can remember.

I started watching it! Rei you were right, it does have the potential to be awesome! I still don't get the whole Capture the Flag thing. Is it like a training for them or something?

I think its more of a ranking thing; from what I inferred from it, the city loses resources needed for survival when they lose the flag. Although that might have been inter-city, so it could just be training.

Thanks Nanaya. I know that it's between different cities, and that they had a training for the real thing in Ep 2. What you say makes sense. I tried looking it up but there isn't a lot of info on Regios.

2 episodes to go.... Regios failed to live up the what I had hoped for. :'(

It's a good unique series, but... they just took on too much, leaving to many important things unexplained, or poorly explained.

So what do you guys think? Should I keep this one on my anime-to-watch list, or should I cross it off and rather invest my precious time in a different series? To be honest, I'm still kinda put off by the official site's small character pictures. It's as if they're trying to hide that their character designs are bad or something... are they?
