I don't know how many of you guys are Touhou fans, but personally I've taken a liking to its music. Not everything ZUN composes is gentle on my ears, but most of his melodies are great. I especially like Silver Forest 's interpretation of his tunes, though admittedly I've had only limited exposure to the realm of Touhou doujin music.

What was interesting to me, both as a fan of Utawareru Mono and Suara and as a composer myself, is that on Silver Forest's album Reincarnation, they have this track called "Suimusouka". It uses a melody of Touhou origin, but the arrangement is intentionally similar to "Musouka", the opening theme to Utawareru Mono by Suara. Pure awesome!

Does anyone else here enjoy Touhou music?

Hey look, a thread that could use a serious bump. Recently I've gotten VERY into Touhou--I play the games every day, and I've downloaded most of the music. I even replaced most of the music in my Mabinogi client with Touhou music! ZUN can't art, but that man can put together a seriously epic track.

If I had to pick a favorite, I couldn't!

I dont play the game but I love the music. I really like it on the piano. my favorite on the piano is Romatic Childern.

I really like 95% of Touhou music and the most one I like is Hellfire Mantle....it's make me feel relax

I tottaly love the touhu doujin music, its allways familiar, yet different. I realy haven't found a bad touhou based album yet.
i mostly listen to Iron Attack, Silver Forest, Alice Music, IOSYS, Alstroemeria, Felt, Dark Phoenix, LiLa'c Records, Innocent Key... and alot others xD I'm listening End of Daylight right now, possibly my fav techno-ish track.
damn i have so little touhou music, yet alot pairing with any other non-touhou music >.<
