Hmm. Revival of an old thread. I suppose it's just as well.

Unsurprisingly, I'd prefer to be in the world of Utawareru Mono . Aside from the interesting cultures and natural wonders, there are many fighting styles, and each of the many races have their own special qualities. For instance, the Giriyagina are extremely powerful physically, while the Onkami Yaryuu are skilled in magic.

Living in this world also has its domestic benefits. You see, everybody has cutesy animal ears and tails (or big, fluffy wings in the case of the Onkami Yaryuu). Also, since children inherit the physical properties of their mothers, all you have to do as a guy is marry a woman of the right race and your kiddies will have the same animal features. Of course, I already have my sights set on a certain Onkami Yaryuu princess... Either way, you can't go wrong!

Oh, and Q, if Makai is your thing, there's one in Disgaea . Demons everywhere, some cute, some ugly, some downright hideous, and they're all downright ferocious.

Hmm...that's a really good question! There's so much anime out there...if I had to choose I'd probably say...D.Greyman...I love the abilities they have and that it's set in our world, just with a twist!

But my number one favourite, which is unfortunately not an anime, is a world a friend and I created for our rp...you know who you are. ^.~

I am on a flying island. There are even multiple of these flying islands, alltogether forming a huge city. It is some kind of heaven, but not the heaven itself. My duty is to guard the inhabitants against monsters that try to attack this city. The battle is already lasting for over 300 hundred years.
It plays in a time that is unknown in our world. We can fly, but fight with sword, bow and arrow, axes and magic, but at the same time there is also electricity (but no computers, cars etc.).
The most used way of transporting are ships, because the islands aren't flying a kilometre high, but only a few metres. Some ships (but only the ships that are owned by the Protectors) can fly, and are armed with cannons to, of course, protect.
