The monster snarled. "First things first..."it growled at Sanar. "DARN IT LUCI!!! I NEED THAT NEKOMATA DARNED RING NOW!!!! "she shouted at Luci. She was staring to get angry. That ring was their only chance.

Luci stopped her ranting and paused for a moment. So many things had happened at once.

Looking over to the right of the forest, she watches Feli and Sattas brawl with the summon. Feli was throwing bolts of lightning at it but the damage wasn’t critical. Feli collapsed on the ground when the beast swiped at her with long, sharp claws and hit her side. Luci zoned out as her eyes grazed over the fountain of blood pouring out from Feli’s gash. She swallowed worriedly and was about to inch forward when she noticed Sattas nearby having casual conversation with Feli as if he wasn’t on the battle field nor that Feli was even injured. She watched as Sattas amazed at how easily he healed Feli after he was done being a jerk.

"I need the ring. It's important. "Sanar interrupted.
“…..ring? What are you talking about?” Luci questioned.
‘DARN IT LUCI!!! I NEED THAT NEKOMATA DARNED RING NOW!!!! ‘ she shouted at Luci.

Luci watched as Sanar turned red with anger. The little girl was trembling with suspense and agitation. ‘Sorry…that ring….I sold it in the Azagon Black Market….I-I-I needed the money for travel expenses…,’ Luci mumbled silently. If that ring was REALLY the only way to kill the large summon, no one was going to win. Luci had sold that ring a week ago on her quest to assassinate the murderer of the witch child. The wrench who killed the poor boy had been moving way quicker than Luci planned so she didn’t have enough inventory with her for the journey. The ring that she received months ago, was just a small memento from the secret circle. Luci thought it wasn’t that important says the biggest memento of the secret circle was herself.

Luci looked away from Sanar, embarrassed of the horrible trade she had done. Watching Feli attack the beast, unaware of the little damage she was doing. The creature stopped laughing and then laughed again. Between laughs, it said: "Magic doesn't work on me." Feli’s eyes widened and Luci knew she feared the future outcome of the battle. A mage without magic is as weak as any regular human. Feli was going to die. Sattas came to rescue jumping in the air and slicing at the beast, but the thing only chuckled. They needed much help, but Luci only had the spells in her ancient spellbook and she didn’t know which to use. What was that things weakness? Luci grinded her teeth, frustrated and tired. She most wanted to flee and forget this ever happened.

Luci looked to the left of the forest area to look for help. Her eyes narrowed at the blurring boys as they fought against each other like wild animals…though Tivu was a wild animal. She was really hoping they could be partners, but it seemed he was the enemy now even though she said that they weren’t. Tivu laughed huskily and started to circle Poka. Poka only grinned back, silently accepting Tivu’s challenge. Luci sighed and thought “boys”.

Sighing and setting herself on the ground while everyone was distracted, Luci opened the spellbook once again. She skimmed through the page of content spotting out words like “banish”, “large summon”, “death”, and “weaknesses”.

" And it's not a large summon. That thing... wait, what did place did you sell it to?" Sanar asked."Oh yeah... Amazon Black Market..." Sanar was starting to go back to her normal self but she was still trembling. She still hadn't mentioned to Luci that the monster, was not infact, a monster. It was Zuryelle the Mourner who was bound, but she could tell Zuryelle had broken the bonding but hadn't released her full form.

And if she did that, then she'd have to do something that could kill them all, unless they got the ring. Which they could get, as she had somewhat of a little influence as herself, Sanar, in the Amazon Black Market."You at least kept teh bell, did you?" she asked. "Because that also is needed. And also, do you mean the sun ring? You sold that one? Well, if you did, I made that myself for reasons you will find out if we get it back." Then the thing lept at Luci. Sanar took the blow which would have killed Luci and only got a couple of scratches.

Feli finally realized that her magic was no good against the monster. She glanced at Luci and Sanar and ran towards them. "Can you two help me? My magic is no use against the monster. I need your strength! Join me and fight!"

Poka grinned.
"Now we wont be disturbed! Lets enjoy this the best we can!"
On Poka's hand a metal spike morphed into a sword. he looked at his surroundings, then started sending spikes flying at Tivu. It was hard to hit due to Tivu's quickness and agility.

Sanar rolled her eyes. They were fighting each other when Zuryelle was around. She couldn't have them distracting her with their shouting. She took out her wooden flute and blew on the third note. She focused her will at them, and the magic in the flute (The flute works, but it's not enough to get Zuryelle away on it's own) silenced them. Now they could fight without raising a ruckus.

Tivu's ears flicked around from all the noise but he didn't bother himself with looking. It was meaningless distractions for now. He had much more interesting things to play with at the moment.

The mage had quickly caught on to the fact that his magic wouldn't be all that effective and had switched to using some sort of weapons. Tivu easily dodged the metal spikes that were thrown his way and ducked down low, breaking into a loping run as he circled around the man.

He heard someone play a piercing note on a flute and chuckled to himself as the magic rolled over his body and was absorbed into his skin. When would they learn that creatures of magic weren't effected by magic? It was always the same tricks with mages but he didn't mind. He split his tails from his body and created clones, making them help in circling the mage.

"I think it's time to create some fireworks..." he snapped his fingers and a bright purple flame appeared, "Kitsune bi..."

The flames leapt from his fingers and raced towards the mage at an alarming speed.

Luci stared at Sanar blankly. What was with this girl? Luci sighed dramatically and turned to face Sanar.

"No. I think you got the wrong person. I don't know who you are and you surely don't know who I am. I can see that you're underestimating me and almost everyone around you. If you had been a advanced mage like you keep hinting you are, then you would have noticed how strong and powerful the auras around us are. Okay? I can take care of all of this without your help and don't you say that you are the only able to slay the beast, because I know all of us can. I don't have any of those items you keep asking for, so I guess you, yourself, cannot defeat our opponent." Luci argued angriliy. She was sick of being nagged and underestimated. This was not the treatment she deserved. For the Goddess' sake, she was one of the highest members of the elite witch circle! With a grunt, she turns on her toes and takes a few steps away from Sanar.

Luci grasps her spellbook and flips to a page impatiently, "ah ha. dementia's rage."
she smirked at the book when it warned her that the spell was only for high pristesses and elite mages. "I'm stronger than all." She noticed that the spell took two people though and her eyes narrowed on the running Feli.


"Can you two help me? My magic is no use against the monster. I need your strength! Join me and fight!" she yelled over at Luci and Sanar.

"Perfect. Of course you can! Come here, Feli. I hope you have enough experience for this spell, but I need to borrow some of your magic as well. Think you can help me over here?"
Luci replied with a poker faced expression.


As Luci waited for Feli's response, she glanced over at the brawling boys. Her original quest requested her to assassinate one of them and she was unsure what she would do to the other. They both looked like a threat and she might have to reach the spell over them too. Killing three powerful beings with the Dementia's Rage spell would be very power consuming and would also require a lot of blood. She looked around for a good victom and her eyes grazed over Sattas. "what a pity...oh well, he was going to die sooner or later." Luci grinned evilly as she admired her plan. Tivu won't see it coming either, thinking that no magic at all works on him. She was special, this book was special, and this spell, especially, was special. It used the attributes of the spiritual realm as well as the earthly attributes that connects his soul to this world. Because of the intensity of the spell, Luci and Feli can both die from the spell. She secretly hopes that Sanar would continue it if they go down.
