Ryuu looked at Onoki, even though he changed the subject. "Onoki, my relationship between Hotaru is not like that at all." he said. Then he looked at Ryomo blushing, and turned pale. He did not expect that reaction. He never expected any reaction. That was his problem. "E-erm. The dinner looks delish." he said. Hotaru just looked at him.

Once again Onoki grit his teeth in frustration at Ryuu's statement, his perfect facade slipping momentarily to show his anger. How was the kid totally oblivious to everything happening around him? Was he trying to get on his bad side or did he just enjoy watching him fail?... he shook his head and ran a hand through his hair. No, now wasn't the time to beat up on guildmates. This was meant to be a holiday... he could beat the sh*t out of Ryuu when they got back.

"Ah, now this is more like home!" he chuckled, following Ryomo's family to where a huge banquet was laid out for them. "Man I miss big dinners like this! Making my own food kinda ruins that... I never learnt how to cook..."

Gorao sat at the end of the semi-long table. On his right was his wife and then son. To his left is where Ryomo sat.

"Looks great love." Gorao said happily.

"Thank you. Suzume said. "So Onoki, you can't cook? City boy then?" She assumed.

Gorao nodded."I didn't know how to cook either until I moved out here. Ryomo is a nice cook too. You should treat them once in a While." he said to Ryomo.

She lazily waved him off. "No need, I eat at the guild, they can eat at they guild."

Jinji snickered."Maybe she's afraid of killing them with bad taste. Nah, I'm just kidding.

"Quiet you..." Ryomo replied. Though her mind was on this Ryuu business...

Hotaru beamed. "Ryuu's a splendid cook," she said. Ryuu looked at her. "NO I'm not. Maybe I am, but..." he grumbled. Hotaru poked him. "Too bad Stein's never had your cooking. Then again, everyone but me seems to not trust him." she said. "No talking about possible enemies at the--- oh whatever. You basically get it." Ryuu replied.

"Ha, is it that obvious?" Onoki laughed at Suzume's observation, taking a seat at the table with the rest of the family. "She's right though, I eat more often at the guild than at home. It's no fun eating alone anyway."

He paused awkwardly, not really sure what the proper table etiquette was for this family... he was so used to getting served that he wasn't quite sure if it was rude to serve himself? Oh boy, was he over-thinking things! He had to keep reminding himself that it was just food. Chill out mate. You're just some guy on holiday. No one special. He had to keep reminding himself.

"Oh, just go ahead and help yourself. There's no need to be too formal, you're at home." Suzume said with a kind smile. "Though you should get to it before Gorao does.

"Yeah. Or Monkey for that matter. She can out eat Pops on a good day." Jinji said matter-of-factly.

Both Gorao and Ryomo nodded. Respectively they began to serve themselves. As did Jinji and Suzume.

Ryuu shrugged and started to serve himself. After he was done he turned around and noticed that Hotaru had not gotten food and was looking pale again. "Hotaru, are you okay?" he asked. Hotaru jumped. "I'm... fine." she mumbled in response. Ryuu shrugged. "Well, you don't have to tell me, I guess. If you want to tell anyone else, then..." he said. He looked at Onoki. "So, we didn't really get much time to talk aside from when we were fighting and doing other things. I hope we get to know each other and hopefully get along," he said happily, exited. Then he felt a tingle which he well recognized. "Seriously!? On my vacation?!" he grumbled under his back. "I'll be back in a second. Something very important may have come up." he said to Onoki.

Still a little uncomfortable in a "family" setting Onoki decided to suck it up and just get some food... he was pretty hungry still. Using all that magic before really had him starving! He wasn't really sure how to answer to Ryuu's statement, worried that the boy would only pry more into his personal life... which was... troubling.

"Hey, mate. Wait, where you going? What?" He frowned at Ryuu. How had someone found him all the way out in some hidden village? He turned back to Ryomo's family, a big grin on his face. "Wow, the food's great Suzume!"

Ryuu exited the room. Hotaru looked at everyone in the room until Ryuu returned, grumbling things. "Back." he announced. He looked at Okoni. "So, what were you saying? " he asked Okoni as he got some food.

"Oh, thank you Onoki! It's so nice to get a compliment around here." Suzume said emphasizing the words.

The rest of the family sighed. Though the things going through her and Ryomo's mind, was what had gotten to Ryuu to make him leave.

"Oh that reminds me." Gorao said as he pulled out a set of keys. "Whenever you are ready to leave here, feel free to go to the estate.

Ryomo grabbed the keys and continued eating.
