Why does she resemble Taiga from ToraDora that much? She's a flat-chested tsundere, has the same animation design, the same hair and eye color... Is that intentional?

I don't hate Taiga. I hate the stupidissimo that happened in the second part of Toradora. Speaking of names, I've noticed names of male charcters, involved with characters, voiced by Rie, usually end with -ji. Ryuji(Toradora), Yuuji(Shana), Kinji(Hidan no Aria), Joji(Umineko). Well, it's not a rule, as there are a lot of exceptions, like in Gintama, Zero no Tsukaima or Hayate, but this happens a lot Though well, Ryouko isn't voiced by Rie, so this has nothing to do with her, but as we've started discussing Taiga, I thought it was worth mentioning

I see. I never watched ToraDora because people kept saying it's too much like the other anime that have a tsundere loli as a main heroine.
I wanted to mention Rie. Actually, she's not voicing Ryouko only because she's not a loli. She is, in fact, voicing a loli in this (Ookami-san) anime. A very cute one, too.
I like how Ryouko looks more than how Taiga looks, but without watching both of those anime, I can't say which one of them like better.

Yeah, I know, Usami, right? Well, between this and Toradora, what would you like more: a romance anime, where the main guy confesses right away and then the whole season he and tsundere grow closer with her slowly accepting him. Or a romance anime where a bunch of annoying kids making everyone's head hurt because they can't decide who loves who?

Oh, I see. =_= ToraDora seems annoying... Ookami-san sounds boring. But I can't be too picky about famous anime. Maybe I would like them anyway if I watched them.

Infinite Stratos is on my "to watch" list. The characters look so nice... But I'm not sure when I'll start watching it, because I have other things to finish before that.

Hmmm... seems like Ryouko was intentionally made to be similar to Taiga. My reason for this is because you see Taiga appear in this show on episode 8, so it can't be coincidence!

Btw, Infinite Stratos is amazing, you should totally bump it to the top of your to-watch list. Charlotte and Laura are sooo cute xD

If Ookami-san's and ToraDora's creators/animation studio are the same, then it's intentional, like in Excel Saga and Puni Puni Poemi.

Actually Taiga wasn't that bad, possible incoming spoiler : she even tried helping Ryuuji getting together with Minori after she realised the liked Ryuuji and even though she was bossy at the start she was atleast capable of normal romance in compared to most tsunderes being released lately.
I'd take Taiga over for example Louise anyday. ( even though saito was a total perv in zero no tsukaima which might explain some of louise's behaviour xD )

But ye as I mentioned before I haven't seen Okamisan and her Seven Companions yet so I can't compare the two girls. Yet Taiga is awesome. PUHHH :P

Dunno, as far as I see, Taiga's the main reason for all the crap happening in the second part. Well, not the sole reason, Minori and Ryuuji are also to blame, so if I could, I'd just explode all three of them. In contrast, love story here is waaaay better with main character confessing at the very beginning and then Ryouko just goes obvious tsundere, but it doesn't provoke anything bad here.
